U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett, has hired Luke Byars, a Spartanburg native, to head Barrett’s run for governor.
Byars has served as U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint’s state director and has run numerous S.C. campaigns including Dole/Kemp in 1996.
